Ingrown Toenails
Our friendly podiatrists here at Scarborough Beach Podiatry will be able to help you if you are dealing with serious or persistent
ingrown toenails. These are usually treated with a minimally invasive surgical procedure which includes numbing the toe with local anaesthetic and removing the intruding side of the nail along with the root. Finally, the root area is cauterised with phenol to prevent recurrence of the ingrown toenail. This highly effective procedure usually takes about 2-4 weeks to heal completely. If you are dealing with stubborn ingrown toenails, please contact one of our friendly podiatrists. They will be happy to help!
Plantar Wart

Such options include acid application, padding and offloading the wart, freezing, or simply removing the hard skin covering the wart.
